Can I volunteer without Garda Vetting?

No. The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016 do not permit any volunteers to participate in any activity involving children or vulnerable people until they are Garda Vetted.

Please note: You must be vetted through Code Club, regardless if you have previously been vetted by another organisation.

Parents do not need to be vetted unless they have chosen to regularly volunteer at a Dojo.
